Our mission is to help military moms find the resources they need. That is the simplest description and statement of our mission. It really is all about your needs.

We understand your needs because we have walked a mile in your shoes. We see where you’re coming from. We see the world from your perspective. Most of your neighbors and friends and family may not.

They may have no clue, but we know that many times, you stay awake at night. We know, from time to time, there is that doubting voice at the back of your head asking serious questions regarding what could possibly happen in the future.

We understand all of that, and that’s why we have gone out of our way to build a platform that would enable you to find the support you need. Whether you’re looking for resources to better access Veterans Affairs or you are just looking for other moms for kind words and consolation, we’re here to support each other.

We understand that it’s very easy to feel alienated. It’s very easy to feel that you’ll just fall in between the cracks because other people cannot understand what it’s like to lose a military veteran or to have a child come back fundamentally changed by war. We know. We understand. And that’s why we welcome you with wide open, warm embraces.

This is the place for you to let your hair down and to let it all hang out because nobody’s here to judge you because people have already walked in your shoes and understand what you’re going through.

You may not have the same points of views and opinions as everybody else here, but that’s okay. That’s what makes this space so valuable because we welcome differences of opinion. What we all agree on is that we are going to support each other, we’re going to help each other cope, we’re going to help give each other strength as we put one foot in front of the other to be strong for our children; to be there to keep on giving and giving and giving despite the pressure, the frustration and the uncertainty.

Ultimately, we are here to communicate on many different levels. We’re not just talking about sharing a kind word. We’re not just talking about saying the right things at the right time to the right people for the right effect. We’re talking about something so much more.

We’re talking about sending spiritual messages that uplift and that enable people to see the beautiful, to see the possible, and to get the strength that they need to move on to the next day and the day after that.

Our vision is to do this not just in the United States, but to build a global community of moms of US military veterans. Everybody has full access. We want everybody to share resources here. Whether we’re talking about financial, medical, psychological services and whatnot, this is the place to be.

It really all boils down to a simple case of moms helping moms. If we don’t do it for each other, who will?

We’ve already tried government support. We’ve already tried getting professional access and services from the government, but the government can only understand so much. They can only care so much. And that’s why we have to do it. We have to pick up the slack, and the result is this space.
